What we collect

What you send us by email: your address and the content of your message. We use them to reply to you and, if you ask, to let you know when audits open. Nothing is sold or used for advertising. For visits to the website, see audience measurement below.

Audience measurement

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, to know which pages are read and where visitors come from (referring site, country, type of device). This tool sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser and does not follow you from one site to another. We only see totals, never a visit linked to a person.

We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which tell us which searches our pages appear in. These figures come from the search engines themselves: nothing is added to the website for this.

How long we keep data

Emails are kept for the duration of the exchange, then deleted no later than 12 months after the last message. If you are on the waitlist, your address is kept until audits open or until you unsubscribe, which you can do by simply replying.

Service providers

Two providers process data on our behalf:

• Google (Google Workspace) hosts our email;
• Cloudflare hosts the website, protects it against attacks and counts visits; it technically sees visitors’ IP addresses, which we do not keep.

These providers are based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected]. We reply within one month. You can also contact the data protection authority of your country: the CNIL in France, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in Canada.
